PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES !!!!!

Slumped luxuriously in an upscale bohemian flat in the heart of Toronto’s Art and Design district, Daniel Girard casually surveys the chaotic remains of last nights party. “We’ll have to get the housekeeper in, then…” he murmurs, before picking up a well thumbed copy of Tolstoy’s War and Peace, and ignoring me completely.

It looks like I’ve lost his interest. I turn my attention to Panos Giannoulis, hoping that perhaps he’ll rise to the occasion. “So, could you give a brief summation of the tour to this point?” I query.  He looks up from the pile of designer drugs he’s currently consuming, and scowls. “I’m a little, y’know, busy…” His threatening tone tells me that maybe this isn’t the right time. Or place.

It doesn’t looks like I’m going to get anywhere with this at the moment, so let’s backtrack. Their Majesties are currently in Toronto, participating in an Artist-in-Residency program at the Drake Hotel. They left Halifax at 6:00 on a Friday morning, drove through a snowstorm, stayed in the upscale Hotel Kennedy, and pulled into Toronto on Saturday.  Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of excess, debauchery, and no-strings-attached sex. This just about brings us up to date.

Hopefully, the band will be a little more cooperative in the upcoming days; however, until then, here’s a little fun multi-media for your viewing pleasure.

Check back for updates, coming at you over here! Or is it over here!? Or perhaps here!! And, while you’re at it, check the “Shows “section to your right. It’s a very informative section. Much better than that “Contact” section. (Which is still a pretty good section.)
