PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE

Here’s why this new update exists; time has passed since the last update, and new things have happened that it simply couldn’t have included. It’s not that the last update didn’t want to tell you what went on in the period of March 9 – 11. It’s just that it had its hands tied, so to speak. As a result, it gets points for good intent, even if it was incapable of delivering. Also, it made a future update necessary. That said, this update is the future update, which also makes it the current update; shortly after you read this, it will become old news, and the events occurring afterwards will become future news that will be included in the next update, at which point it will, in turn, become current, and then old.

So what have Their Majesties gotten themselves up to? A lot of things not fit for primetime, certainly. But they did play a show in Brantford. Big crowd, absolutely no underage drinking, half the population of Halifax, and the largest take-out French Fries in the world.  When Andrew asked for the “large”, he was laughed at by the two gorgeous Greek women working the counter, who incredulously asked him; “Just…for you??!!” They refused to sell him the fries until he assured them that other people would, indeed, be sharing them.  The picture doesn’t do them justice, either. Has anyone seen the movie 300? Sometimes, I like to watch people play video games where all they do is fight hordes of enemies for hours, and hours, and hours, and hours. And hours.  Wait a minute! Let me rephrase that. Sometimes, I DON’T like to watch people play video games where all they do is fight hordes of enemies for hours, and hours, and hours, and hours. And hours.  Because it’s boring. So why the hell would I want to watch a movie that does the exact same thing? Oh, cause it looks “cool”. Oh, okay. Here’s my $12 and 2 hours of my life; take them. I don’t want them back.

Moving on. Their Majesties have a busy week on the way. This Monday marks the first of the 3 Drake hotel shows they’re playing. Come on out, and hang with the Dudes. And Their Majesties.  Also; North Bay, watch out.
